Researcher biography
Dr Gillingham was a professional social worker for 16 years in both England and Australia. He moved to UQ in 2011 and since then has been awarded a Discovery Early Career Research Award and a Future Fellowship by the Australian Research Council. His research focuses on technological developments in social welfare agencies, particularly on their impacts on social work practice. He also conducts research in the field of child welfare and protection.
