About Nursing at UQ
Nursing research in The University of Queensland’s School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work is focused on improving health outcomes, healthcare quality, and patient experiences across the lifespan. The School has a strong track record in multidisciplinary, translational research, working closely with health services, government, industry and community partners to address contemporary healthcare challenges.
Research strengths include quality health systems, chronic conditions, health across the lifespan, infection prevention and vascular access, paediatric and neonatal care, women’s health, patient safety, and the health needs of vulnerable and underserved populations.
